Formed in Los Angeles in 1997 with Doyle Dean and Manfred Hofer, THE MARIETTAS' guitar-driven, original music resulted in their first album,""12"" in 1999. At the controls was producer/engineer Eric Westfall, who has worked with such acts as Giant Sand, the Gin Blossoms, Chuck Prophet,and Chris Cacavas.
