Phil Snapp started playing percussion when he was 10 years old. He become well known for his natural abilities by the time he graduated from Cave Spring High School, at which point he had played percussion in concert, symphonic, jazz, and marching bands for 6 solid years. Phil Snapp started composing electronic music as a creative outlet when he was 20 years old while studying psychology at VCU. He found that electronic music gave him the ability to create and tweak different emotions that are so familiar, yet hard to describe. Snapp ran with this hobby, which turned into a serious outlet for his perception of life. After starting a strong regional following for his music, he became close friends with various Richmond area artists such as "The Echo Boomers", "Tilden", "Ethereal".. and had music being played at basement parties on the regular bases. His music started to take off, and he realized that this was no just a dream, but a reality that had been manifested with creation.
