Afshin writes, sings, and plays several instruments: piano, guitar, bass, and drums.
He has degrees in Music Composition and Audio Recording. He studied music composition with David Ashley White and Chris Theofanidis, and piano with Abbey Simon. His classical compositions can be heard on his web site www.afshinf.com.
Afshin has also written music for two short films by Chris Eska, "Conscious Convenience" and "The Cookie Tosser," and produced original music for various video projects.
Afshin's song, "My Love," was a Semi-Finalist in the Rock/Indie category in the UK Songwriting Competition 2008.
