DreamCapture have been together for 5 years, and consist of Evette Judge, and Pete Lawrence. They are constantly writing new material and continue to strive to be original and different. They were signed to London based Halo records and finished recording their second with them in 2008. They have played gigs ranging from pop festivals in Nashville, Tennessee, Cavern Club Liverpool. Their sound has influences from Fleetwood Mac, Heart, and Texas. Recent reviews have said:DREAM CAPTURE @ THE NAG'S HEAD, WycombeOUTSTANDING originals by this Rock based modern Indie trio from Aylesbury. Not very well known locally, but judging by the quality of their music, they could be big very soon. They have just been signed to a record label! Evette has a great voice and her guitar playing has moved up several levels since I heard her last year. DreamCapture have played at festivals with very big crowds in England, USA & Germany AND been invited back! So that must tell you something.“Their Anglo-American soft rock led by powerful female vocals from this positive and uplifting band” The Horn St Albans..................................................................... www.dreamcapture@hotmail.co.uk

Blonde
Well, where do we start! I wrote this a while back waiting for the right riff to turn up to match the lyrics. Written in a caravan in Sussex, hardly what you would expect really!

All Because Of You
Gentle acoustic intro, with drums and bass coming in later, strong vocals throughout, with percussion, keys and some brass for good measure. extremely popular and constantly being in the top 15 in the IAC Easy listening chart after 2 years plus! Tells you it's a really great song!

Acoustic, emotive soft rock

Clockwatcher
Upbeat, rocky song with a nice syncopated drum beat all the way through until a change in the chorus. Simple repeated bass and guitar riffs that help drives the song.

Sometimes
Gentle, but only for a little while, a nice rock beat all the way through gives it the drive it needs to actually rock. I like the bridge on this one, gives me some time for the toms and live we extend this to give the end more of a build up. Vocals by Evette, backing by Pete. All guitars Evette, bass Paul and drums Pete.

Say What You Want
A simple acoustic guitar riff repeated with a strong bass line and strong snare beat throughout. Vocals are by Evette and Pete. Added my ghost backing vocal at the end of the song too add a slightly reflecting tone for the song. Light keyboards again at the end to re-enforce the reflective nature of this song. Recorded this with a video which you can see on our IAC page!

Reflection
The violin throughout gives a distinct Celtic feel to this song which was the intent, mixed with finger picked acoustic guitar. Drums played with brushes to give a gentler snare sound and longer decay on the cymbals. Soft bass riff throughout with and tempo change towards the end with harmonies from Evette, Pete and Paul.

25000 Words
Nice soft rock song with a nice easy tempo start which shifts up a gear fairly quickly.

Turn to blue
Acoustic really, very simple but a nice haunting melody and harmony. Use of the Viola for the chorus parts with drums played with mallets to soften the sound and to give long cymbal flares and chimes rides. Acoustic guitar picked, with light bass riff. Main vocal and harmony vocal in the chorus.

Acoustic

So Tell Me
Acoustic throughout, with Spanish Guitar Bridge. Played and sung by Evette. Drums by Pete, simple drum pattern using single and double tom fills. Bass by Paul Taylor replicating the original Double Bass finger picking. This song was reworked for the second album and released as a single.

Storm
Started off life a a nice quiet acoustic song, however it has changed into one of our most popular live rock songs. A nice gentle start leads into a guitar solo and powerful vocal before slowly calming and slowing to a gentle end. Like a storm!

Work It Out
Written by James and Pete, with a distinctly different feel than the other songs on the album. Acoustic guitar and bass played by James. Drums were a 12” DW snare added to give a punchier crack, which were played by Pete. Keyboards played by Phil Goss. One of our favourites but rarely played live nowadays.

Killers Kiss
Rock song with the Les Paul and Washburn KC90 throughout, giving a good powerful rock song with the classic rock drum grove. A driving bassline and nice steady bridge before driving the song to the finish.

Runaway Love
Punchy guitar, great rock song! Has been recorded professionally 3 times now. We put this together in the original band, chopped and changed bits, mainly lead guitar riffs and so on. Bass was first done by James, which again was the finest version we think and really drove the song along. Vocals have remained the same as have the drums.

Didn't Want to
A classic love song; about deceit, jealousy, heartbreak and anger. All the good things we love about relationships!

Bonus Track (Instrumental of Didn't Want to)
Thought we would let you hear this track without the vocal. Just Pete and James on this track. No mixing so the sound is raw and live!

Blue Sun
We recorded this near our home town of Aylesbury in 2005. Our first attempt hoping it would move us on to the next stage. It did we were offered numerous record deals and finally went with Halo Records of London. The original bass player was James Tenniswood, also we think our finest bass player, also played various lead guitar throughout the album. Evette did all the vocals and rhythm guitar as well as the backing vocals. Pete played all drums, percussion and electronic effects. Evette and Pete wrote all songs throughout a 2-year period prior to recording. We would also like to thank the other musicians who helped us as well as our previous band members: Martin Jones, Martin Priestly and Mo Barley. We all hope you like it. Thanks for listening.
