I have remixed it now, removing that awfully over-aweing reverb and simply adding a touch of light chorus. Much better I feel. This was written for Rose. She has been the inspiration behind a few of my latest works, but this one is very special. It's from the heart. It has been almost thirty years since I sang...so it takes someone very very special to get me to do this now. It has taken me some time to get this far with it as I have no fancy recording equipment...only the pc and a headset mic

A Dark Place
I read a poem by my lovely friend, Rose, written on one of her darker days. I simply had to set it to music. So I asked and she didn't object. Her poem is based on a Numan song but only based on it, so it is original. I set out to create an atmosphere of a tale of dark happenings and possibly fear. I think I may have just about managed that. Once again the vocal was made with a headset mic and recorded in the kitchen here, so ... no apologies for that!! :)
