Hello Diego my friend ... thx for stopping by and thinking of me ... I made it through my ordeal finally ... but then had a Dr. botch a hernia surgery, then he sent me to another Doc that almost killed me .. lol ... just Sam's luck ... it has been a year now since the surgery and FINALLY I quit going to the Doctors and a couple of weeks ago I started feeling better ... a little stronger each day now ... I think of you and others here often ... hope you are well also ...

herzlichen Dank für deinen besonders netten Kommentar und die guten Wünsche!
In den 90ern habe ich lange in HH gewohnt, dort leider keinen so genialen Musiker
wie Dich gefunden...sonst würden meine Balladen heute vielleicht etwas anders
klingen. Doch ich bin sehr glücklich, endlich auch bei IAC gelandet zu sein.
Weiterhin so viel Erfolg und liebe Grüße aus der Südheide (LK UE)!

Hi Diego. Thank you so much for listening to my music and for your kind comment. You have some lovely song on your page and "You Loved My Way" is very well produced in country version although I like your other version as well. It has some warmth and it's very pleasant to listen to. You might be surprised to find out that your original version (not a country) might get a higher result although it's not easy to know for sure. All I know is I submitted a plain version and it scored Finals and my co-writer (we discussed it so I knew) submitted a more interesting version which reached semi-finals.it was entered in different categories though so it is possible that it was more suitable for open category. Well, UK Songwriting Contest says that performance and production aren't being judged so it's the song is what counts and you have good songs so I'm sure better luck next time for you.

I wanted to thank you here for listening and responding so as not to "bump" my post unnecessarily.
I'm inclined to agree with you....Ocean is the more uplifting of the two tracks (thanks for adding). And though Ode is a demo, I'm enjoying the contrasting approach in energy/arrangement/presentation between them. Good colors for my paintbox.
