COTa short film directed by Skip Shea written by Mary Deberry and Skip Shea from the original feature length screenplay by Chris Faatand and Anthony Demings I was cast as Maria Parente, A 1940's USO singer. I loved singing this role! My original song "divine" was chosen for this wonderful story. Sun Razor Sun Razor ..an ethereal message of "live in the moment" and "love conquers all". I collaborated with my brother,shred master Dean Cascione on this one. It is his original instrumental from his debut cd "Guitar Chop Shop" While listening to his composition, the lyrics came to me and I couldn't resist sharing them. 8/13/2010 7:49:39 AM 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow' is very nice! Interesting arrangement & vocalization. Ella Fitzgerald's version has always moved us. This rendition retains that 'classic' feel that is lacking in much of today's jazz recordings. Even though we are 'rockers' we were surrounded by jazz music very early on. Just last night we were watching a Wes Montgomery DVD. We will listen to more of your work! Congrats on being on the Hitline! Somehow we managed to get on there (ourselves) twice recently.
