My name is Tod Beard and I've been playing music for many years! The same is true of my partner; Craig Hawkins. You may recognize us from our previous project ""Arkstone"". That website is still up and running. We will feature some of Arkstone's tunes until they are replaced by our new material. After all, when you boil it down it's still Craig and I. Beth Blackmar is featured on 'Vimana' and Native Dance'. We hope that she will be on more tunes in the future.
We decided to pursue a more soundscape, soundtrack, world and art rock type of genre with our new gig.Craig plays lead guitars and keyboards. I play bass, guitars, keyboards and drums. I hope some of you will like it!

The song "Breeze by Me" and "Shogun" has been moved and can be heard on our other website at "Arkstone" IAC. We will periodically do this with songs as we make room for our new material.

""Spirits of Dawn"" is the new name for our project. We are named after one of our songs that we did and is on the website.
We try to set moods and imagery. Nothing better than a good musical tale! As mentioned, we were also founders of ""Arkstone"". This project will be less rock and roll and more soundscape, soundtrack and art rock type music. The rock and roll stuff will be on the Arkstone website.
