NIKOLI (pronounced ""nikoleye"") are a four piece all-singing all-dancing powerhouse from the four corners of Leeds. Nikoli started life in 2001 as a solo recording project of Leeds resident Tim Hann. In mid 2003 it morphed into a band with the coming together of James Brunger on drums/vocals, Chris Maunder on piano/bass/vocals and Spence Bayles on guitar/bass/vocals.

Their 1st collaborative release was an EP in late 2003, followed by a double A-side in 2004. Likened to a mixture of The Beach Boys, Doves, Spiritualized and The Smiths they have received nationwide radio airplay and rave reviews.

The band currently have a new keyboard player in Simon Miller and are at their studio, recording tracks for a debut LP and are gigging extensively in and outside of Leeds.
