Emotept is a one man gig. The music is entirely composed on the computer. The songs were created with midi loops, plugin instruments, and royalty-free loops. As of right now, most of Emotept's music has no lyrics, however, the newest song has lyrics and hopefully most songs to come will have them too!.

The main purpose of Emotept's music is to soothe and relax the listener. Also, to invoke mental pictures, etc. Emotept's style is constantly changing however, and can be viewed as an experimentation with different sounds, and genres.
The best thing to do while listening to the music is to be open minded, relaxed, and let the music speak for itself. Keep in mind, almost every song is very different.
