It is a neat 15 years since the release of Shawn Colvin's debut album. Which makes it a good time to take stock on her career on Columbia Records, one encompassing six albums, three Grammy Awards, and a wealth of remarkable songs.

Currently recording the as-yet-untitled follow-up to 2001's Whole New You in Austin with longtime collaborator and producer John Leventhal, the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter has about seventy-five percent of the album completed and is aiming for a September release.

While working on the album, promoting, and being a mommy. Colvin is also doing tour dates and benefits.
