Lane are a singer/songwriter duo, living in Sidmouth, South West England.
Anthony and I met in 1995 after a strangely persistent inner voice urged me to move to Plymouth (of all places!) I remember phoning my Mum a lot after I had moved to Plymouth, and I kept saying 'I don't know why I'm here!' Well, the reason became clear, and the inner voice was right, because that's where I met Anthony. We began writing music together and got married in May 2001. We hope you like our songs :)
'Everything You Said' recorded at Pete Townshend's The Wick studios. 'Leave Me Where You Found Me' recorded at John 'Rabbit' Bundrick's studio.
I also run 'Once Loved Dog Rescue' helping to find loving homes for UK pound dogs who are at risk of being put to sleep. All downloads of our songs go to Once Loved Dog Rescue (including our DMD) Please click on the link below to visit my rescue website. Thank you.

Cathy & Anthony, What beautiful music!!! You guys renind me of "Fleetwood Mac" on, "Everything You Said". You definitely have the style of music that should be on radio. Do you have any of your material played in the UK? Thanks for the lovely compliment on our page. Your love for music shows in your work and good luck with the shelter for the dogs. Cathy, if it plays OK on your computer, I wouldn't be concerned with reloading. The difficulty must be with mine. Seems to be an erratic annoyance that I have yet to resolve.
Cheers (keep 'em coming....you sound great)

Hi, Cathy,
You're quite welcome for the song add to Squeeky Wheel....it's a good'n. Seems, though I'm having difficulty making it play. Had the same problem with our song Buddha on the Road and ended up reloading it to our page. I don't know whether or not it's just a glitch in my computer, but would you mind double-checking your song to see if it plays?(and please let me know?)
Thanks,
Mike

Hello Cathy,
This is Cherish (Petra Luna's volunteer), I am stopping in for Petra Luna to thank you so much for your offer to help with the cause we really appreciate that! I had originally wrote you back on Petra Luna's page in the comment section but I figured it would be smarter to leave a comment on YOUR page..lol. I would love to work with you in the efforts of PL "War On Abuse". If you would, please check out her website PetraLuna.com to learn more about the "PLuna Foundation", "April's Law", and other realated information. On this site there are also banners that you can copy and paste on any pages or sites you have to help get the word out about the cause. Generating AWARENESS is a big focus for us in this movement, so just spreading the word and referring others to her IAC page and other sites would be a HUGE help!
I am on this site regularly so please feel free to stay in constant contact with me so that we can work together in this "fight"....Petra Luna and myself would truly LOVE the help and we thank you again for your interest and kind offer!
I really look foward to working with you, Wishing you the best!
-Cherish

You have some wonderful songs here. Don't let writer's block get you down. If you wrote these songs, you're capable of writing more. Let that confidence carry you though the downtime. Get out and enjoy life. That will inspire you to write again.
The more you try to force the songs to come, the more they will stay away. Sometimes you have to stand back from a picture to see it more clearly. There are all kinds of tricks that supposedly cure writer's block but there's no magic formula.
The more life you embrace, the more art you will create. If you can't paint a sunset, go and watch one. It may inspire the creation of the painting.
