Shock and Awe
I wrote this song approx. 1 week before the start of the Iraq war and recorded it in Jun 2003. At that time Bush's war was doing well. Remember? Saddam's statue was torn down and bush landing on the aircraft carrier saying mission accomplished. It looked like a cake walk for the good ol USA. The lyrics didn't make sense then. They do today! Was this prophesy? If so, listen carefully to the end, it's SCARY! PEACE MAN!

Your poem, "Lost For Eternity", William is so very beautiful and poignant - so very few are capable of such an expression of honesty and openess. Much respect to you sir for your strength and for the wisdom gleaned from the pages of your life.
Thank you too for your wonderful and so very kind words last week on my page - I'm honored by your very special and greatly treasured friendship.
I share your feeling of urgency and meaningfulness to reconnect with old friends and special memories of yesteryear and also find myself experiencing such an empty feeling of loss when I discover the purpose, reason and comfort that such reconnecting can offer is not shared by others that once were in my life. What golden treasures those have lost by forgetting the past.
Nevertheless, I still wander as often as possible now down Memory Lane - it must be a feeling that comes to some of us with the passing of the years, and even if it is at times a solitary stroll it is still comforting to me because I also carry inside of me my thanks, appreciation and love for my family and the many beautiful new friendships that have come into my life these past few years as well as the blessing of music that the Creator has given to me. And at the end of my stroll down Memory Lane are all my hopes and dreams for tomorrow. What a priceless gift for any time of the year!!
Wishing you and yours special Christmas memories and dreams. God bless you brother!!

I have to say that I was really happy to hear from you, at some point I thought that you had retired from IAC and I am really glad to see that you are still here alive and kicking.
