Duty was started by Kent and Anders as a test to see if their different music tastes could in someway be combined to create something interesting.
The goal was to create something new - a mix between techno/synth/rock.
In 2005 Jürgen joined the band as a guitarist and in 2009 Linda joined DUTY to become the lead singer.
