I have removed all my songs and related information and content from my Artists Page here as well as from the page that Paula Tessaro and I have here at IAC. My songs (clips of each) and a short bio are posted on my web site http://neilwyoung.com at this link: neilwyoung-website and at CBC Music in Canada at this link: cbcmusic-neilwyoung Additional information regarding my music and bio are available on my page at MySpace at: myspace-neilwyoung My songs are available to purchase at CD Baby at this link: cdbaby-neilwyoung and on iTunes - type Neil w Young in search field. The decision to remove my songs and all related information from my Artists Page was made February 3, 2013 just a few days short of one year since my official resignation on February 9, 2012 as CEO of KIAC Media, LLC and as president of IACMusic.com as posted on my Pipeline blog of February 13, 2012. Due to certain events and matters that came to light following my noted resignations that blog merits editing however in respect to the position that I took at the time the blog was written and in appreciation to those who commented on the blog I have elected to leave it as it stands. Yes, there was a reason for my aforementioned resignations and for my deleting my songs and music and related content on both of my pages here at IAC as noted. In fact there were several reasons. At one time I was very active on IAC with many songs posted, charted and being uploaded to many IAC stations for which I was grateful to the various station managers. At one time I had a number of stations here to which I had added songs by many artists in my desire and efforts to support those artists and the IAC community. At one time I encouraged friends to come here and to bring their songs and music as at that time I believed IAC was the greatest music related web site on the planet, and for a period of time while I held the aforementioned positions at KIAC Media, LLC and at IACMusic.com I dedicated my time and my resources endeavoring to improve and strengthen IACMusic.com for the benefit of all members and for the shareholders of KIAC Media, LLC. As well as being more than disappointing, the ensuing revelations that came to light during my aforementioned short tenure at the helm as well as the abject disregard to business matters following my resignation were in stark contrast and which gravely failed to meet my personal and business values of responsibility, transparency, integrity, respect and trust. It really is a matter of trust. When and where there is none there can be no future regardless of what promises are made or as the case may be at times, regardless of what agreement might have been signed. Sadly as I discovered here, some agreements are not worth the paper they are written on casting a poor reflection to say the least on those who welch on agreements and fail to honour their word. For any such person I find the words of Sir Walter Scott from his work "Old Mortality" to be most appropriate: "Everybody, soon or late, sits down to a banquet of consequences." Having said all of the above, I wish to take this opportunity to extend my appreciation and thanks to those who graced my time here over the past six years with your friendship and support during my active and involved presence with IAC. I am honoured and humbled that your support resulted in my songs reaching #1 on a total of 51 main and sub genre charts at IAC as well as two songs reaching #1 in 2007 on the CASHBOX Country Chart. Thank you and best wishes for success and happiness in your future endeavors. Neil As an aside, I'm only guessing - perhaps though not without good reason - that my page is being monitored and compromised behind the scenes and my back in order that it does not appear on the respective “Community” links on the top navigation menu for other members to see when my page is being viewed or when it has been recently visited or updated. It also does not appear in the list of "Recent Logins" or "Recent Page Views". Such steps to deliberately compromise my page if in fact they are being taken would be reprehensible given the many, many thousands of dollars that I have invested here intended and supposedly applied - although I have only one person's word that they were - for the purpose of developing and implementing new programs, projects, improvements and upgrades all that had been presented to me to fund for the benefit of the members and shareholders, including several thousand dollars also out of my pocket to reimburse artist accounts in June and July 2011 for debts owed to them by IAC while the web site was being managed, or mismanaged as the case may be by others before I became involved as per my above noted positions now since resigned - IAC and related debts that I agreed to pay in order to clear the books for IAC and to get the previous management off the hook for the debt as well as to restore the integrity of IAC and members' faith and confidence in the web site and new management during my time at the helm. Not surprisingly given what has previously come to my attention and what I have learned as a result of my past involvement here, it would appear further that the censorship of my account includes restricting me from posting comments on other member's pages. Regardless of what steps might be taken to hide the truth - which steps further emphasize the culpability and seriousness of this matter - rest assured at the end of the day the truth cannot be censored, controlled or manipulated. To the unsuspecting members at IACMusic.com and to the minority shareholders of KIAC Media, LLC, the catch-word here is 'caveat emptor'.
