Singer/Songwriter & Multi instrumentalist making melodic, expressive music with distinctive vocals and poetic lyrics....
"Love is many things, oh this i know
the walls of a heart may overflow
and Cupid may be overthrown
his arrow bent, his sweetheart flown
Oh its a fairytale, it's broken shards
and last of all, a house of cards
it's candle light, a beating heart
and last of all, an avalanche"
Extract from Avalanche.
Music is the representative of every single feeling and emotion in this bittersweet life. The very heart of it is everything we will ever go through and a song which effects people with the feeling it was written with....? That is a true piece of art.

Wings of a lullaby
'And i heard you, like a far out tune
a leaf caught in the wind,
Time goes by with no need of an alibi,
a warmth that Winter gained'
There is a bridge where poetry crosses over music, where all its attributaries can be seen clearly. The lyrics of this song do not use the bridge, but dive from it straight into the heart of the riverflow. The deepest feelings are outlined by a tuneful acoustic guitar and images of everything bittersweet.

The place to be
So.. Karl Sloan. Beauty At High Tide. Although I have never met with Karl, I feel I know him as a Musician and I like his new song. This song brings you to his world and has some very catchy instruments going on in it. I liked the song very much and have added it to "The Place to Be" If you have not visited Karl's Station yet, I suggest you do and while you are at it check his other songs out as they are quite good!
