Brush Wood was formed in the spring of 2006. Jim Richardson(lead vocals/guitars) has had a few line-up changes for over ten years. It wasn't until the addition of Alexei Akimov(lead guitars), Gary Glynn(drums) and George Crecoukias(bass guitar) did the band start to notice the potential of being a class "A" rock act. With one full length CD under their belts, and a killer live show, Brush Wood is currently searching and shopping for management and promotional opportunities.

Brush Wood is about peace and spiritual freedom. It is about artisitic freedom. It is a band catering to all ages and tastes. That is the goal of the band. To bring our message to the radio waves that hasn't been tasted by some, but sounding comfortably familiar to others. This is a willing, career oriented live act.
