New genres... if are boosting up!
Hi!
Today, as I usually do on Fridays, I was updating my station (the #1 Station), when I found that IAC has created a lot of new genres!
I'm happy for it, because we found a genre that fits better to (many of) our songs: Classic and Progressive Rock.
My suprprise was when I saw that 5 of our songs are in the Top 15 there!!!
Well, I know it's a temporary situation, while all the artists will be confident with new genres, but it's a great sensation to see all these songs by if so high in a chart... I feel like Gaslight District for one day!
Anyway I think that the creation of new genres is definitively a good new: it gives visibility to more artists...
Just one thing before I close: we've got two songs very high on Classical "I wish" and "Midsummer raving", but someone could consider them "off-genre" because they're not properly Classical Music.
I didn't find a better genre to put them in... in Garageband exists Acoustic, but not here...
So I put them in Classical because the arrangement is classical in some way, with Spanish guitars, piano and cello (I really don't think they could be considered acoustic rock or folk!).
Anyway people liked these songs, so I think that nothing really matters!

Have a nice weekend.
