I wrote Phoenix as an anthem for those of us who are abuse survivors and for anyone who has gone through a dark time or survived a difficult experience. The song is about rising above that which holds you down, being stronger, empowered and making evolved intelligent healthy decisions. It is our painful pasts that make us strong leaders today. This song is meant to unite us because we can all relate, it is Universal I wrote it in hopes to celebrate our good decisions in life.
