A touch of Andrea Corr in the vocals (surely a good thing). Great song in the singer-songwriter tradition - on the shoulders of giants. Big things in store for this girl if she's managed effectively. Best of luck!

Think this one might be a "grower". Still finding it a wee bit hard to reconcile the gravely voice and lyrics with the overtly smooth production. Wonder if the organ should be a bit more of a throaty B3 sound, maybe some power chords, raspier harmonica playing, dunno!! ... something leaves me wanting a slightly dirtier sound to the instrumentation. (but not too dirty)

This certainly is a classic Rock track with all the elements or a 70's band thrown in! Breathy organ intro, lots of reverb, strong riffs, change ups, driving drums .. it's all there. Very anthemic.

Eoin O Meachair
Si Beag Si Mor
One of harper Turloch O Carolan's (West Meath c 1670) best known compositions. The name (pronounced - and sometimes spelled as - "sheebeg, sheemore") means "Little Fairy, Big Fairy" and refers to a local legend from Co. Leitrim concerning a war between two fairy armies. Other sources, however, claim that the title is taken from the names of two hills near the estate of Squire George Reynolds, one of O'Carolan's first patrons.
