After being on one terrible internet radio station, I have decided to pull my songs off of this incompetent station and start my own here on IAC. I could no longer justify allowing my songs to be played on this station that only had a handful of listeners and did not care about their Artists. So.......  This song was inspired by a djembe rhythm from West Africa which is very similar to a lot of folk music. The time signature is 7/8 but feels more like 12/8 as it's all in triplets! The lyrics came to me in 2007 when we had terrible floods in the UK followed by devastating floods in Kenya.
