My Grandfather's Home (recorded 1986)
This is a very special song I wrote and recorded over twenty years ago for my family dedicated to my maternal grandfather Ben Meyer who was a great influence to me growing up. Grandpa Ben was a WW1 veteran of The Battle Of The Argonne and was born in 1896 and passed away in 1975. He played the fiddle that he carried through that war and I have it for a keepsake. I spent some of my early childhood summers at grandpa Ben’s house in northern Wisconsin on Long Lake. added to station 7/10/2010 11:50:12 AM
