Power
This is the pivotal question for the European artist. How will the power structures of the New Europe evolve is the great unanswered question of the 20th century and dominates the political landscape of the west. As the structural divides of the past dissolve in the spreading web of interconnectedness, how will the New Europe deal with questions of difference and identity. Kara tackles this dilemma in her use of structural opposites resolving in Art a question unsolved for a century.

Omega
Listen to a synthesizer beautifully played. Working with very few elements, centered by a simple polyrythm, voices build with elemental materials as the specific tonality's are developed. Much more than exercise in sonorism we find a developed collage technique. With Long Ago we find a complementarity.

She weaves a gossamer thread of microtones and modulations outside of the realm of traditional vocal practice. Simply amazing. Check out her great radio station "Marcome (Mar-ko-may) Radio"

Kara does not merely copy the practices of the classical period for here we find gothic motivic writing with a noted absence of suspensions as the primary tonal devices. As in Breathless again Kara provides a great sense of fluidity with her evolving use of rhythmic modes.
